Regulatory & Evidence

Where the line is, and why we hold it.

ELLIVON publishes evidence-led education about human biology. This page sets out plainly what that does and does not mean, with specific reference to South African regulation.

    Educational, not medical advice

Everything published on ELLIVON's public pages is general educational information. It is not a diagnosis, a treatment recommendation, a prescription, or personal medical advice, and it should never replace consultation with a registered healthcare professional.

  • 02

No public sale, cart or ordering

There is no checkout, payment, cart, price list or ordering mechanism for regulated or investigational compounds anywhere on this website. Availability of medicines and regulated products is subject to applicable law, registration or authorisation, prescription, and licensed healthcare and pharmacy channels.

  • 03

    No dosing or self-administration guidance

We do not publish dosing protocols, reconstitution instructions, cycling schedules or any other self-administration guidance, for any compound, at any evidence level.

    South Africa — SAHPRA warnings

SAHPRA has publicly warned about unregistered peptide products being marketed to the South African public, including through online and social channels. In general, products intended to diagnose, treat, or otherwise alter bodily functions require registration or authorisation before they may lawfully be sold in South Africa.

  • 05

A disclaimer does not legalise a sale

We state plainly that publishing a disclaimer does not make an otherwise prohibited sale lawful, and a wellness aesthetic does not change a product's regulatory status. Our response is not a notice at the bottom of a shop — it is the absence of the shop.

    No invented approvals or certifications

We do not display regulatory approvals, certifications, registrations or third-party marks that we do not hold. Retatrutide and other investigational compounds are described as investigational and not approved for public use.

Information only — availability subject to applicable law, prescription/authorisation, and licensed healthcare/pharmacy channels. Nothing on this page is an offer to sell, and no dosing or self-administration guidance is provided.
