Evidence highlights

What it is

Ipamorelin is a selective growth-hormone secretagogue receptor agonist; CJC-1295 is a growth-hormone-releasing-hormone analogue. Combined presentations are supplied as research chemicals and are not approved medicines.

Mechanism being studied

Both act on pathways that influence pulsatile growth-hormone release in laboratory and animal studies.

Human evidence

Some early-phase pharmacokinetic studies exist for the individual compounds, but there is no adequate controlled evidence for the combination in general clinical use, and no approved indication.
